    康世昌,男,甘肃陇西人,1969年1月出生,汉族,理学博士,中国科学院寒区旱区环境与工程研究所研究员,博士生导师;现任中国科学院冰冻圈科学国家重点实验室主任;获甘肃省自然科学一等奖、基金委“国家杰出青年科学基金”、中国科学院“百人计划”、“青藏高原青年科技奖”,享受国务院“政府特殊津贴”,2009年入选“新世纪百千万人才工程”,并获“中国科学院优秀研究生指导教师”奖2次。

    现任“Atmospheric Research”副主编、“气候变化研究进展”、“冰川冻土”、“Sciences in Cold and Arid Regions”等多个学术刊物编委。国际大地测量和地球物理联合会(IUGG)能力建设与教育委员会委员,IUGG/IACS和WCRP/CliC中国委员会常委副秘书长、西藏气象学会副理事长、中国第四纪研究会理事等。主持和参加国家基金委重点和面上项目、“973”项目、中科院重要方向性项目、国际合作项目等40余项,组织或参加野外科学考察40多次。主要从事青藏高原雪冰和大气化学特征、冰芯气候环境记录以及现代冰川和气候变化研究工作。主要的科研成绩为:确立了青藏高原雪冰和大气化学成分的季节变化特征,认识了北半球冰芯粉尘记录与大气环流之间的关系,通过珠穆朗玛峰冰芯记录评估了人类活动对大气环境的影响,以及通过各拉丹冬冰芯记录揭示出长江源区最近二十年来的急剧升温等。已发表学术论著总计300余篇(册),其中SCI收录论文166篇(第一和通讯作者论文74篇),最近5年被SCI论文总引用1200余次。
